Hello Columbia Families,

We’re heading into one of the most exciting times of the school year, and our campus is absolutely buzzing! As we get closer to May, our students are gearing up for end‑of‑year testing, and we are so proud of the hard work and growth they’ve shown. We know they’re ready to finish strong, maintaining our ‘A’ school grade.

Our fantastic 5th graders have a whole lineup of special events coming their way as they prepare for their big move to middle school. We can’t wait to celebrate them and all the memories they’ve made here at Columbia.

We also have lots of fun end‑of‑the‑year performances on the horizon. Our students have been practicing, creating, and getting ready to shine on stage. These events always bring so much joy, and we love seeing our students’ confidence and talents come alive.

Many classes are wrapping up their spring field trips, and it’s been wonderful watching students explore new places and learn through hands‑on experiences.

And finally, we are thrilled to welcome our new families during our two upcoming orientation sessions. We can’t wait to show them why Columbia feels like a family — a place filled with excitement, learning, and putting children first.

Thank you for being such an amazing community. Let’s enjoy every moment as we head into this fun and memorable stretch of the school year.

Katie Brinkman

Proud Principal, Columbia Elementary
