Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year!

Dear Columbia Families,

Welcome to another exciting year at Columbia Elementary! We are thrilled to welcome our students and families back for what promises to be an incredible school year.

Our theme for 2026–2027, To Infinity & Beyond, reminds us that there is no limit to what we can accomplish when we work together, believe in ourselves, and encourage one another to reach new heights.

Before we look ahead, I want to recognize what we accomplished together last year. Columbia once again earned an "A" school grade and continues to be recognized as a Florida School of Excellence. Even more exciting, our school grade increased from 65% to 69%. Those accomplishments are a direct reflection of our amazing students, dedicated staff, supportive families, and community.

As principal, my goal is to make sure every student walks through our doors feeling safe, supported, challenged, and excited to learn. I believe that when we build strong relationships, set high expectations, and create opportunities for every child to succeed, amazing things happen.

One of the greatest strengths of Columbia is the partnership we share with our families. Parents are an important part of our school community, and I encourage you to stay involved throughout the year. Whether you're volunteering, attending school events, joining PTA, or simply staying connected with your child's teacher, your involvement makes a difference. When schools and families work together, our students benefit.

I also believe that great schools are built by great teams. Our staff is committed to creating meaningful learning experiences while continuing to grow, collaborate, and support one another so that every child receives the very best education possible.

Thank you for trusting us with your children. We are excited to partner with you as we begin another year of learning, growth, and new opportunities.

Here's to an amazing 2026–2027 school year...

To Infinity & Beyond!
