Dear Families,

We have officially stepped into the second half of the school year, and there is so much excitement in the air at Columbia! The spring months are always full of energy, growth, and special events that bring our students, staff, and families together.

We’re looking forward to several events coming up in March including Field Day on March 12 and Book Fair the week of March 9thSpring Break is March 16–20, and I hope our students and families enjoy a fun, safe, and relaxing week. When we return, we’ll be ready to jump right back into all the great things happening on campus.

The second half of the year also brings important academic milestones. FAST testing will begin the first week of May, and our students have been working hard all year long to prepare. Our teachers will continue reviewing key skills and building confidence so every student feels ready to shine. We are so proud of the progress our students are making!

We are especially excited to welcome new students and families to Columbia as part of the upcoming rezoning. Our Columbia family is growing, and we couldn’t be happier! We are committed to making sure every new student feels welcomed, supported, and connected from day one. Columbia is a special place, and we can’t wait to share it with even more families.

If you or someone you know would like to learn more about our school, we are offering campus tours at the following times:

  • Tuesdays: 9:00 AM & 9:30 AM

  • Wednesdays: 9:00 AM & 3:00 PM

  • Thursdays: 9:00 AM & 3:30 PM

There is so much ahead — classroom celebrations, performances, academic achievements, and opportunities for our students to shine. Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Let’s keep the momentum going and make this second half of the year amazing!

Let’s bloom boldly,

Katie Brinkman
